I think it is important for all players to play one on one both during practices during the season and during out of season workouts. I also think that it is important to make the one on one meaningful and as close to game-like as it can be.

These Simple drills will allow you to improve you dribbling ability easily over the next 1-2 weeks. Use this Drill session and practise for 30-40 minutes each day and in 2 weeks you will see a LARGE improvement in your game!

LINCOLN – The 14th annual HoopAdemics Basketball Camp will be running its basketball instruction program for children ages 5-16 beginning in August.
The camp, a unique combination of the mental and physical aspects of the game, has been very successful for many young boys and girls in the Blackstone Valley area. UW-Eau Claire head coach Tonja Englund and the Blugold women’s basketball program are conducting their summer camp as more than 450 campers have participated the past three weeks.
UWEC’s McPhee Center the place to be as the campers work on their fundamentals and develop their individual skills. Coach Englund says having her current and former players help out makes the camp a great learning experience for everybody.

College of the Desert is hosting its annual Basketball Camp for aspiring hoops players from across the Coachella Valley.
The four-day camp will be held Aug. 16 through Aug. 19 at the COD gymnasium.
“It teaches fundamentals, it works on skill development and the kids play in tournament games,” said Richard Lee, who is one of the coaches in charge of the camp.
Lee is the head coach of the Cathedral City High track team, and Rob Hanmer, the former Cathedral City High boys’ basketball head coach are organizing the camp. COD head basketball coach Henry Viveros founded the camp and will also be assisting in the coaching this year. Read more »
It’s probably just a coincidence that during the three years that former NBA player Tim Legler and current Kingsway Regional High School boys basketball head coach George Passante have been running a summer basketball camp that the Dragons have had their most successful seasons in school history.
But if it’s not a coincidence, any aspiring ball players should plan on attending the Tim Legler Basketball Camp that runs from July 26-30 at Kingsway.
Getting in good with Passante is a smart move and learning from Legler might be an even better one. Read more »
