Scholarships are able to finance your education without having to pay it back and Academic Affairs Scholar-Athlete Award – JSU is one step to lowering your college costs. Don’t know where to start?
At Jacksonville State University approximately 83% of our students receive some type of financial aid.
A FAFSA is used to determine a student’s need/eligibility for College Sports Scholarships. Since JSU will prepare a financial aid package only after receipt of the results of the FAFSA and any additional paperwork that may be required, it is recommended that each applicant to the university complete their financial aid file before the March 15 priority deadline. Students may continue to complete their financial aid files after this date, but may not be awarded prior to the tuition due date if completed after July.
So there is ample opportunity for students who seek financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.) A FAFSA is used to determine a student’s need/eligibility for financial aid.
Be sure to have your application for admission to JSU completed first!
